
Katie Chyna (pronounced Key-na) is a law clerk at The Muller Firm, Ltd. She is interested in family and juvenile law and aspires to become a Guardian Ad Litem.
Katie grew up in Libertyville, Illinois. She earned her undergraduate degree in 2021 from the University of Minnesota with a triple major in Political Science, Global Studies and French. While at the U, she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi, the French Club, and IES Study Abroad in Montpellier. Outside of school, she also volunteered her time as a translator for The Advocates for Human Rights in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In the fall of 2021, Katie began law school at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. She is currently a 2L and an active member of the Moot Court Honor Society. In her spare time, she volunteers at the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights, where she serves as a translator and familiar face for unaccompanied immigrant children being held in detention centers across Chicagoland.
Katie lives in Chicago, Illinois, where she can often be found exploring and partaking in pup crawls with her 2-year-old Borador, Monty.
